The power packed hard rocking sound that is Audio Adrenaline is on full display with this CD. Opening up with the high tempo "Clap Your Hands" Audio A sends the party right to your car speakers. With a thumping drum beat and a fierce strumming of the electric guitar they sing of clapping their hands to "the promise land" and how the promise of God can keep us. Next the group moves on to the title track "Until My Heart Caves In" and gives out the message of their desire to sing of God until the very end. The opening guitar sounds like the beginning of the old rock tune "Jessie's Girl", by Rick Springsteen. I know that is taking many of you way back...but then the lush sounds of the synthesizers and the hard beat of the drums come on the scene and you know that this is pure rock funk by Audio A that's playing on your CD player. This is a great track; I just wished it lasted longer. "Undefeated" and the remake of the classic of "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher" are other notable tracks on this project. Produced by Audio A, Jay Joyce and Christopher Stevens this recording is another stellar performance by a group that gets better with each project. Check out Audio Adrenaline at www.audioa.com
A NehoSoul Christmas Bryan Duncan
The "Blue Eyed Soul Man" Bryan Duncan strikes again on this recording as he serves up some of the best R&B flavored Christmas tunes around. Starting with the home grown groove of "Christmas Comes But Once A Year" Bryan fuses soul and blues with a funky style that is all his own. This foot tapping track with the wonderful keyboard solo by Phil Curry will make mom and pop roll back the chairs and "cut a rug" for sure. The classic "Silent Night" is given a fresh update by Duncan who makes this standard shine with his jazzy delivery. The pop infested "This Christmas" is a free-flowing tune and allows the versatility of Duncan to be pushed to the forefront. The funky "Winter Wonderland" and the smooth and surprisingly up-tempo jazzed "Little Drummer Boy" are also worthy tunes on the CD. A great CD to add to your Christmas music collection.
