Brad Paisley is back with his newest release and if the reception of his first single “Alcohol” is any indication, then Brad has another hit on his hands.
Brad is one country singer that can take a gimmicky song and turn it into a hit. He seems to enjoy singing them and it comes thru in his music. Don’t be turned off by those types of songs, he can sing ballads and up tempo songs just as well. Not only does he sing well, but he either wrote or co wrote a majority of songs on this CD as well.
With guests Dolly Parton (When I Get Where I’m Going) and Alan Jackson (Out in the Parkin’ Lot), this forth release from Brad shows he is here to stay. He doesn’t go overboard with instruments and lets his voice do the job that he sets out to do.
Don’t miss the CD, it has extras on it called Cornography, it is fun to listen to. George Jones, Dolly Parton, Bill Anderson, James Burton & the Kung Pao Buckaroos and more from the Grand Old Opry are included in Cornography. (It might be a little risqué for young listeners, but you can skip these if needed, no dirty words really, just a bit off color and innuendo.)
