Repeat Pete

Players 3 - 8

Ages 8 to adult

Playing Time 20 minutes

How good are you are at remembering actions? Have you ever imitated what someone else was doing? Then Repeat Pete may the game for you.

Repeat Pete consists of 267 action cards, 21 special cards, game board, 1 die, and 8 pawns. Players draw a card and then must preform the action on the card. The player who performed the last action is always Pete. Then the next player must do the action of the first player and the action on their card. They place that card in front of them. The round continues until a player messes up.

A person's turn consists of drawing and looking at a card. Repeating the actions of the previous players in order. And finally performing the action on his/her newly drawn card. The round ends when a player messes up. The next round begins with the person to the left of the first player.

At the end of the round, players move their pawn forward one space on the game board for each card in front of them. Special cards like Reverse, do 2 actions, and skip cards do not count. The player who messed up must roll the die to determine how many spaces he/she must move backwards.

There are five types of action cards: action pictures(use no sound), animal pictures, action and sound, action description(use no sound), and say something.

The first player to reach Finish on the game board wins.

Repeat Pete makes for a fun party game since many people can play. It also takes less than 5 minutes to explain the rules. Players should be given a reasonable amount of time to perform tasks. There is no time constraints but a house rule might want to be implemented if players seem to be taking too long with tasks.

Repeat Pete is from Patch Products and could be a good game for younger kids. Just remove the cards that require reading.
