Bruce Lee Statue

Hong Kong, thanks to the Bruce Lee Club, has a bronze monument to Bruce Lee. It is the first of what is sure to be more in the future. Bruce Lee, the martial arts’ star, has a statue dedicated to him on the Avenue of Stars. The Avenue of Stars, on the Kowloon waterfront, is the premiere place to go for information on the legends of the Chinese Cinema.

The bronze statue is 2.5 meters high. It weighs 600 kilograms. There is a carving on the base which reads “Bruce Lee: Star of the Century.” The Bruce Lee Club presents the statue in honor of the actor’s 65th birthday. Bruce Lee lived from 1940-1973.

Bruce Lee, the Kung Fu legend, has fans around the world. “Enter the Dragon” is his most popular film. Multiple generations enjoy his martial arts’ films. The “Green Hornet’s” television programs are on view all over the world.

Stop by and view the statue while in the wonderful city of Hong Kong, China. The Avenue is near the Star Ferry pier.
