Before you start you should decide what type of information you want to include in your newsletter. Make a list of all the key events you want the recipients to know about. Then decide what form you want to use to convey your news. Do you want it to read like a newspaper, a diary, a cozy letter or maybe a top ten list? Whatever style you chose remember to keep it friendly and fun.
The following basic templates are in PDF format and offer colorful themes. Begin by deleting the "click here..." wording and then add your own date and text.
| Christmas Theme | Winter Theme |
| Holiday Tree | Snowman |
| Happy Holidays | Holly |
| Hannukkah | Kwanzaa |
If a more detailed newsletter is your style use either the Custom Holiday Newsletter or Arctic Animals Newsletter Generator. While these newsletter generators offer more options when creating a newsletter, please note that I couldn't get them to load using Firefox. When I switched to Internet Explorer they loaded with no problem.
Start by clicking on the desired theme, then click the "add photo & text" tab. Place your mouse over the photo area you wish to edit and click. Then select the "replace photo" tab to upload and add a photo to your newsletter. Photos can be uploaded directly from your computer or from a Snapfish account. Once the photo has been loaded you can then make any final adjustments using the editing tools.
Click the title and text boxes to add your news. You can add your own style by changing the font style, font color and font size. Once your newsletter is complete click the download and print button.
If your send your newsletter separate from a Christmas or Holiday card you can add that finishing touch by creating customized envelopes.
