Why did you model for Plush Cat/Satu? I started modeling for Satu in order to gain modeling experience and to participate in an organization that was promoting a positive image for plus size women.
What did you gain from the experience? Being a part of the Plush Cats has given me more self-confidence and I am more comfortable in my own skin. I have also become more comfortable in front of the camera, on stage and have learned all the tools of the modeling world!
Do you do other modeling? I model for local designers in Los Angeles and I am currently seeking representation from an agency.
What's your day job? I am a Photo Stylist. As a Photo Stylist, I work alongside a photographer, I "style" our photo shoots. I make sure the products are placed perfectly and represented well for the client in order to sell the product effectively.
What do you hope your picture says to other women? I hope that they can relate to me. I want women to look at the pictures in the calendar and think "Wow, that girl looks like me and she is in a calendar!" I hope they see they can be confident, sexy, and accepted as they are-- sexy comes in all different sizes.What do you hope your picture says to men? There are LOTS of men who can appreciate a woman with curves, so I hope this calendar reaches the men who may not typically be attracted to curvy women. I want them to see the beauty in the pictures, and not focus on the size of the models.
