- Shampoo and condition with products formulated for your hair type
- Apply firm styling foam or hair glaze for body.
- Blow dry for volume. While your hair is damp, use a large round bush to give it shape.
- If your hair still tends to fall flat, use a little backcombing on top and in the crown. How to Backcomb
- Spray it with hairspray and smooth the hair over it.
- Use a small amount of hair cream to smooth down and frizzies or flyaway ends. (Put a pea sized amount in the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together to emulsify it. Run your hands lightly over the top of your style.)
- Use firm-hold hairspray to hold the bangs and sides up and back.
This style uses the same haircut as the one above.
- Scrunch your hair while drying this style with your blow dryer (no diffuser)
- Use a medium sized round brush all over to give it shape and curl.
If you are not handy with a round brush, you may use a large curling iron after it is dry.
- Use a little backcombing on top to add fullness.
- Use a light aerosol hairspray to spray the flips in the back and at the sides.
- Use a firm hold hairspray to lift the bang area and to keep the sides back.
This style has lots of body and texture,
- After shampooing and conditioning, apply a firm hold styling glaze
- Fluff your hair dry using a blow dryer and your fingers.
- After it is dry, apply hair crème to separate the layers and add texture.
