Candy Land Castle Game

Candy Land Castle game is a different take on the classic Candy Land game. This new game is simple and fun. Like its predecessor, Candy Land Castle game requires no reading.

The game is for one to four players. Each player will have a gingerbread man that will have four colored shapes - one on each hand and foot. Before the game begins, load the castle with the colored shaped discs. Put the candy cane handle upright.

The youngest player goes first. The player pulls the candy cane forward to release one of the colored discs. The player then checks his gingerbread man to see if the colored shape is on him. If it is, then he takes the disc and places it on the gingerbread man. If the shape isn't on his card, then he puts the disc back into the castle and his turn is over. The game continues until one player has all four pieces for their gingerbread board. Even though you have a winner, you may continue to play until everyone has found all the pieces for their card.

Candy Land Castle game can be a good learning tool for teaching both colors and shapes. It is also a fast game and will not take too long to play. That is always a plus when you are dealing with short attention spans.

The best part of this game is that you can play it by yourself. So if you can't find anyone to play with you, you can challenge yourself.

With the different colors and shapes, Candy Land Castle game presents a great learning opportunity. Small children can practice reciting their shapes and colors while playing Candy Land Castle.

Different rules could be added to the game to make it more interesting for older kids. Maybe have a free-for-all when a game piece is released from the castle.

Candy Land Castle game has the same basic elements of the original Candy Land game - making it a great first game for the youngest board gamers.

We purchased Candy Land Castle as a Christmas gift for our daughter.
