Do You Know How to Shampoo Your Hair ?

Treat your hair like the fine fabric that it is, to keep it in great condition.
    How to shampoo
  1. Brush tangles out before you shampoo. If hairspray is keeping the tangles in, donít tug. Shampoo the hairspray out and the tangles will release.
  2. Saturate your hair thoroughly with warm Ė not too hot - water.
  3. Place a small amount of shampoo in your hand.
  4. Rub your hands together to emulsify it.
  5. Apply the shampoo starting at the front hairline, then the crown and the back.
  6. Gently massage with the pads of your fingertips. Massage in small circles for about one minute.
  7. Rinse. Using your fingers, separate your hair so that your it is thoroughly rinsed.
  8. One shampoo is usually enough but if you use a lot of styling products or it has been several days since the last shampoo, shampoo a second
  9. Rinse. Rinse. Rinse! Eighty percent of flaking is nothing more that shampoo left on the scalp.
  1. Squeeze out excess water and towel blot.
  2. Place a small amount of conditioner in your hand.
  3. Rub your hands together to emulsify it.
  4. Apply the conditioner starting at the front hairline and working back to the crown and the back.
  5. Use a wide toothed comb to comb the conditioner through your hair.
  6. Leave it on for the recommended time.
  7. Rinse thoroughly, separating your hair so that the water gets through it all.
    The Finish
  1. Blot your hair with a towel. Do not scrub or vigorously rub your hair to remove the excess moisture. Doing so roughs up the cuticle of the hair and can cause frizziness.
  2. If your hair normally takes a long time to dry, wrap a towel tightly around it and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes to absorb moisture.
  3. Use a wide toothed comb to gently remove tangles. Donít tug because hair will stretch and break more easily when it is wet.
