This event will be on Saturday, March 11, 2006 and is supported in part by funding from the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council. The details of the full-day conference is available at the Howard County Chapter of the Autism Society of America Site along with a Registration Form.
The cost is very reasonable at $35.00 per person. There is also a choice for lunch from turkey, tuna, beef or vegetarian. The three people speaking are Stephen Hinkle, Tec Chapman and Jeff Strully. Stephen Hinkle is an adult on the Autism Spectrum currently attending San Diego State University.
Tec Chapman is a professional staff member with the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee, with over 18 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities. Jeff Strully is the Executive Director of Jay Nolan Community Services, an agency supporting people with autism spectrum disorders and other challenging behaviors in Los Angeles.
