Go Greyhound for Great Travel Deals
The only thing better than traveling down the open road is letting someone else do the driving. With a bit of planning, you can also benefit from great fare deals when you travel with Greyhound.
Here’s some easy ways to cut the cost of your fare:
Buy a round-trip ticket - One round trip ticket is often less than two one-way tickets.
Travel on a Weekday - Fares are often priced lower for Monday through Thursday travel.
Avoid Holiday Travel - The holidays are peak travel periods, so it's best to schedule your trips during off-peak periods if you want to save.
Buy in advance - With “Go Anywhere Fares”, you can travel for as low as $31 each way with a seven-day advance purchase. Likewise, travel between New York City and Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse, NY for just $44 one-way or $88 round trip when you buy your tickets at least fourteen days in advance.
Bring a companion (either a child or an adult) for 50 percent off when you buy one adult ticket at the regular walk-up price at least three days in advance of travel. Offer good for both one-way and round trip tickets.
Best deal for seniors - Greyhound passengers age 62 and older may request a 5 percent discount on unrestricted passenger fares. Appropriate ID may be required. But that’s not all.
