Rose Kennedy, matriarch of the Kennedy family and mother of the late John F. Kennedy, passed away at the age of 104 in 1995.

Queen Victoria, one of the most beloved and longest reigning monarchs in English history passed away in 1901 at the age of 81.

Telly Savalas, film actor and star of TV’s “Kojak” passed away one day after his birthday on January 21st in 1994. He was 72.

TV Moments In…

1968 - The hit sketch comedy show “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh In” premiers on the NBC network. The show, hosted by Dan Rowan and Dick Martin, also included notable cast members as Goldie Hawn and ran for five years.

1972 - The hit medical drama “Emergency” premieres and would be a staple in NBC’s line-up for several years.
