Ingredients
1 package (16 oz) whole wheat pasta (any type)
1 jar (26 to 30 oz) pasta sauce (any variety)
1 can (8 oz) mushroom pieces and stems, drained
1 can (2.25 oz) sliced ripe olives, drained (optional)
1 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
2. In ungreased 2 1/2-quart casserole, mix pasta and remaining ingredients except cheese.
3. Cover and bake approximately 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered approximately 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
Yields 6 servings
Tip: Try adding chopped fresh green peppers or chopped onions to enhance flavor.
