Soft and Feminine Hairstyle for Thick Hair

This spring hairstyle is soft and feminine, layered and flippy. This model's hair is very thick and coarse. Texurizing was used to remove the weight. Texturizing can be done with a razor, texturizing shears, or with the points of very sharp shears. It creates lots of piecy strands that ad movement to heavy hair. Shorter, texturized bangs show off nicely shaped eyebrows and beautiful eyes.

For heavy hair like this, simply apply smoothing products and a flexible styling glaze. Blow it dry quickly with a vent brush, fluffing it and allowing the ends to flip. Use a large (1 1/2 inch barrel) curling iron to guide the top into position and add a little flip in the ends. Finish by scrunching hair
wax or hair creme into the ends. Twist some of the ends between your thumb and index finger to get them to stick together and add definitiion.
