Jane Seymour - Celebrity Hair

I have often been asked whether older women, say over 40, should wear long hair. Let’s look to at a woman who was born in 1951. At over 50, Jane Seymour wears her long hair very well. She has a perfect face for it and the personality for the romantic styles that the length makes possible.

Hair Color:
The rich medium brown color is flattering to her complexion and always looks very natural. The combination or red and blond highlights give it a glow as well as depth and texture. This combination is important for a natural, youthful appearance. This length of hair requires consistent upkeep and frequent hair color touch-ups to assure that the new growth is camouflaged since there are no short layers to serve as cover up. It is obvious that Ms Seymour wisely keeps her long hair in excellent condition even though it is color treated. It shines and shows no sign of dry or split ends.

Style:
Her hair is fine but she has lots of it and when wearing it down, even though it extends at least half way down her back, it has body and bounce. This is achieved through good styling products and light layers that release the soft natural waves. For more body in long hair, apply firm-hold styling foam at the root area and blow dry upside down. Use a firm-hold hairspray at the front hairline to keep the hair back out of your face.

Updos:
Ms Seymour is known for her beautiful Victorian style updos as well as sleek and sophisticated twists. To wear long hair with style, perfect a few updos for dressy occasions.
