Ah it's that time again - doesn't feel like four years ago already :). What's that then? says you. Why the World Cup of course. As I write the final two teams Italy and France are waiting to do battle this Sunday on the 9th of July. Huge in Europe (from where I write) and getting more popular by the minute in the good ol' USA. Well done the USA team by the way - roll on the next one.
So in celebration of this popular event (understatement) here are a few popular football themes from the past few decades. If you don't know it ask your dad :). These tunes are very popular to play at parties and are well worth sussing out if you are a gigger looking for something different material wise.
- Go West (Very Popular).
- I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles (Trad - West Ham FC).
- Hot Stuff (Arsenal FC) hmmm I prefer Donna Summer's original version :).
- World in Motion - New Order (England official World Cup song).
- Top of the World - England United (a one-off association of the Lightning Seeds and the Spice Girls).
- Don't Come Home Too Soon - Del Amitri (official Scotland song).
- Rise Up - Jamaica United song (all-star reggae affair).
- The Cup of Life - Ricky Martin (official song of France '98)
- Three Lions on the Shelf - Baddiel and Skinner/Lightning Seeds (They'll have to wait AT LEAST another 4 years :).

If you are a big football (or Footy as it's known over here) fan, you might enjoy this terrific giant football. You can check it out here >>> Giant Football Make sure not to break any windows with it :)!
Until the next time ... talk 2 ya' .
- I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles (Trad - West Ham FC).
