ZOEGirl will loose Alisa Childers who is leaving the group at the end of 2006 to pursue her career as a solo artist. Childers has been a member of the group since it's inception seven years ago.

ZOEgirl exploded on the scene in 2000, becoming the fastest-selling debut artist in the 26-year history of Sparrow Records. Since their inception, ZOEgirl has sold over one million records worldwide.

In a recent statement Childres stated "I have had such a great time with Kristin and Chrissy pursuing the call of God on ZOEgirl and I will treasure all those memories forever,". "However, it's become evident to me that God is leading me to focus more on other songs I have written over the years and to give them a voice, she added.

"I will forever be grateful to Norman Miller and Peter York who put ZOEgirl together and were the first ones in the industry to believe in me and give me a chance," Childers added.
