Some Famous Fairies
Tinkerbell is probably the most famous fairy. Created by James M. Barrie, author of Peter Pan, this tiny pixie/fairy can make you fly with a sprinkling of her magic pixie dust. This flashing wee being stole Peter Pan's heart, guiding him through the darkness and light that was Never Never Land. Peter Pan and fair Tinkerbell give many children their first wondrous glimpse into Fairyland.
