There are a lot of additional themes and conflicts to present as well. You will certainly find plenty of inspiration coming from the nature of modern-day relationships and historic ones.

It cannot be said with certainty whether modern romance novels have reached the traditional popularity of historical ones, but they are certainly reaching more and more hearts. The novels with elements of fantasy have certainly gained huge popularity at present. You can readily choose any of these subgenres for your story. The important thing is to come up with your own original idea and to avoid copying bestsellers.

Fantasy is another one of the best selling fictional genres. It is definitely worth the attention of novice writers for a number of reasons. Firstly, this genre appeals to people of all ages -children, young people and adults. In addition, there are no limits of any type imposed on the author. You can really set your imagination free and come up with a great story. Still, you will have to work hard on making an intriguing and entangled plot. Moreover, you have to do quite a lot of research to add realism and/or mysticism to your novel in order to make it more interesting.

Mystery is one of the best selling fiction genres. It has been among the most popular ones for a very long time.
