Ladies It's Time to Get Away!

Ladies are you ready for a little R&R? Well Premier Christian Cruises and Today's Christian Woman Magazine have teamed up to host the immensely popular Girl's Get-A-Way Cruise. The ship sets sail for the beautiful Bahamas on November 9th and returns on November 13th leaving out of Jacksonville, Florida. That is five fun-filled days for women of all ages to come together and enjoy good Christian entertainment.

Cabins are going fast with the majority of the cabins already sold for the fall 2006 voyage. "There's still some cabin space available, but it's very limited," says Robyn Klass, Marketing Director for Premier Christian Cruises.

Take a tip from this reporter...I've got mine and you need to get yours with quickness! There are several promotions running on the Premier Christian Cruise site www.premierchristiancruises.com for purchase of a cabin.

Based on the success of last year's sold-out cruise, the second annual Girl's Get-A-Way Cruise will be the first ever fully-chartered ship for Christian women. The entire 733 ft. Carnival Cruise Line luxury ship "Celebration" has been chartered to provide a memorable cruise experience for Christian women of all ages-young and young-at-heart-who want to be the women God intended them to be. "Ladies should call now if they want to be a part of this full-ship charter for Christian women," says Klass. Reservations for the remaining cabin space on The Girl's Get-A-Way Cruise 2006 can be made by calling 1-800-889-5265 or by visiting www.premierchristiancruises.com

I spoke to one of the partners of Premier Christian Cruises Mr. John Sanders recently and he stated that the Lord placed the vision of this cruise line on his heart. "I sing with the group Brother's Keeper but before that I had a degree in business and I always loved business. Basically the Lord place it on my heart that we needed a Christian cruise company and it began as an alternative for kids during spring break. I called Roy (Morgan-co-owner) and he called his partner Gary,(Gentry-co-owner) the two of them own Premier Christian Productions and the three of us formed Premier Christian Cruises and that's how it got started." says Sanders.

I asked John why this cruise was centered on just women. He stated it was easier for women to take get-away trips than men. "For one if you can get a bunch of men on a ship you are probably one of the best sales persons I have ever known." he jokes "But really men and women are just different and women have that need for that emotional connection with their girlfriends. Guys you know are more into Monday night football. It is really just a nice trip for women to bond with their friends, hang out by the pool, go shopping and just have a time with all of their girlfriends. That's the difference you are not going to get a lot of guys to do that."

In addition to all the marvelous amenities Carnival Cruise Ships are known for, such as fabulous dining, modern health and spa facilities and shopping at the beautiful ports of call, the Girl's Get-A-Way Cruise 2006 will offer Christian music playing nonstop over the PA system, Christian TV channels, wholesome movies, clean-cut comedy, uplifting speakers and inspiring musical artists. This creates a totally different environment than most cruise vacations, something Sanders states is a deliberate decision for the team at Premier. "When you go on any of our cruises and we can control the environment and you're able to put Christian authors and speakers on stage, you program the TV channels that are going into the actual rooms and list what movies are available it's just a much, much nicer time. You don't have to deal with the Vegas type shows, people drinking, the gambling, you know it is just a different type of world. Most people leave our cruises not with a hang-over but leave saying 'Man that was a blessing, I'm encouraged and I feel spiritually renewed and refreshed'"

The emcee for the trip will be former "700 Club" co-host, Lisa Ryan. She will be joined by a fantastic musical line-up including multi-Grammy and Dove Award winner Sandi Patty, Dove Award-winning trio Selah, Dove Award nominees David Phelps, the hot band Brother's Keeper and others. Speakers on-board include renowned speaker/author Shaunti Feldhahn, award-winning author and eldest daughter of Dr. Billy and Ruth Graham, Gigi Graham, the editor of popular teen girl magazine, BRIO, and co-host of "Life on the Edge Live!" Susie Shellenberger.

All passengers will receive a free one-year subscription to Today's Christian Woman Magazine, courtesy of the publication. They'll also be treated to a fashion show sponsored by Christi's Pure Fashion, learn how to connect with moms from around the country with the help of The Motherhood Club experts and enjoy scrap booking and faith booking with Creative Memories.

The cruise line has been blessed with charting several ships including; the K-LOVE's Friends & Family Music Cruise 2007 (January 22-26, 2007) and The Music Boat 2007 (April 30-May 4, 2007). Sanders says there are plans for even more types of cruises to come. "We want to break out and do an American Gospel cruise, a Veggie Tales cruise and we literally have about five or six more cruises on the drawing board. We feel like the next few years we can grow the company so instead of doing four cruises we are up to eight or more."
