I received this tome as a gift from my friend (and fellow BellaOnline editor) Michelle, and it is by far the best gift I’ve received in as long as I can remember. Arranged alphabetically, this encyclopedia of television shows from 1946 to the present includes cast lists, show synopses, and broadcast history. This book will satisfy even the most finicky television trivia buff, with 61 years worth of program schedules, Emmy Award winners, and a fantastic 200-question trivia quiz.

Television’s Strangest Moments
This book by Quentin Falk and Ben Falk is a fun peek into some of the most unusual stories in television history. The Falks weave decades of television together with historical and biographical anecdotes. It’s the perfect nightstand book, as each short story is just right for bedtime reading.
