Breast Cancer - First You Cry, Then You Get Busy

These two words have become two of the SCARIEST words in our world today - and, with good reason. Statistics say 1 out of 6 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and that ratio is shrinking almost yearly.

I had written a different article for my readers - and my apologies for not getting my article to you in a timely manner - however, I felt sure you would understand when I revealed that I have a very close relative who got these startling words thrown at her very recently - and I felt compelled to put aside my current article that I was writing and compose this one.

I have been doing a tremendous amount of research on breast cancer as I want to be informed and knowledgeable so that I can help my dear relative at this nerve-wracking time; and, to make sure we explore every avenue and every option. Someone once said ...'the best patient is an informed patient', although I do not recall who actually said it, but in line with that I am going to list some options you can explore here and sites you can go to for more information on breast cancer.

In laymen's terms I am putting this information out there to you - remember that I am not a medical expert; but I am a concerned woman, a deeply concerned woman, citizen, human being - and because of this passion that I have, I am spending countless hours researching material so that I can be of help to others.

Firstly, every single thing that I have read on the subject, and every expert agrees, that good health starts in the colon and digestive tract; conversely, poor health starts because of breakdown (toxins) in these areas.

Therefore, the very first thing that must be done is to start cleansing to flush out all (undigested) fecal matter which causes bad bacteria and toxic build up in the system - which is being spewed out to various parts of the body, to tissue and muscle and organs via the blood stream.

I used to labor under the false belief that genetics played a major role in whether or not we get cancer - and was comforted by that misnomer; however, according to a lot of experts, the reality of it is as follows:

It is 1/3 = genetics; 1/3 = the foods we eat/exercise; 1/3 = environmental (toxins/pesticides in the air, in our food, - aluminum, mercury, etc.)

A list of just some of the most important things that you MUST avoid to keep your system in good health:

DONT's:

Tap Water (contains parasites, pathogens) - chlorine is cancer causing
Soda - causes an acidic environment in your body which cancer thrives on
Sugar
All types of imitation sugar - these are CHEMICALS, not food
White bread - (or, as Oprah has said, "all foods that are white") - white flour, etc.
Smoking (this goes without saying)
Canola Oil
Parsnips
Chlorine, fluoride
Teflon

From expert online websites on the subject of health/cancer I have gleaned that 100% of people who develop cancer are found to be dehydrated, coupled with having an acidic blood environment; also, their colons are impacted with undigested fecal matter and their systems are full of toxins (the intestinal wall builds up a mucousal substance on it preventing any nutrients - minerals, vitamins, from getting absorbed into the blood stream - therefore, a person with this condition could take hundreds of vitamins and minerals, and they will do nothing for him/her).

These are just some of the DO's whether or not you have cancer:

DO take some form of Enzymes (the lack of enzymes is what sets the body up for disease; enzymes eat necrotic tissue)
DO drink Green Tea - at least 5 cups a day; or, you can take it in capsule form
DO drink at least 8 to 12 glasses of water per day
DO use a cleanse in your system regularly; (i.e., 7 day Master Cleanse, the Almighty cleanse, the Master cleanse)
(Howard Stern's sidekick, Robin Quivers got this recipe from David Blaine, the illusionist - she swears by it)
DO take lots of Vitamin C - Linus Pauling, a Nobel Prize winning physicist/scientist recommended Vit. C in the form of Sodium Ascorbate
DO take Organic Flaxseed Oil (Omega oils have reversed cancers)
DO take Ionic Minerals
Do take Anti-oxidants (to fight free radicals which do damage to our cells)
Do take some form of chelation (this binds to metals in the system and carries them out)
Do take Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (coconut kills viruses and pathogens in the body)
Do take Brazilian nuts & almonds
Do take B Vitamins/B-12, Vit. D
Do some type of exercise - i.e., walking, even 30 minutes a day
Do drink wheatgrass

More helpful suggestions:

Healing sounds -- Naomi Judd used healing sound CD's to help her with Hepatitis C; healing music, coupled with massage therapy and other healing modalities helped bring her back to good health;
Healing scent(s) - Coconut is a healing scent as well as a healing agent (see above);
As Naomi mentions on her website, try incorporating spending time in nature as part of your everyday activities;

Suzanne Somers is a survivor of breast cancer. She has come out with another book called 'Ageless'. I decided to mention it here because she, like myself, has done extensive research on why cancer, in particular, breast cancer, befalls women - with a good many of them developing it in their menopausal, post menopausal or peri-menopausal years, as was the case with her. The reason being that our hormones become imbalanced, and when that happens - it paves the way for disease. Ms. Somers opted for an alternative healing modality, something called 'Iscador' or 'Mistletoe', which is widely used over in Europe, and is obtained through a naturopathic physician.

I have not yet had the opportunity to read her book as I just learned of it - but I intend to pick up a copy. She was on Larry King the other night and among other things, she stated that sixteen physicians are quoted in her book. She talks about bio-identical hormones, which are natural, plant derived hormones, which are the next best thing to a woman's natural hormones, unlike the man-made hormones that Western physicians dole out in prescription form. Ms. Somers is doing a great service to all women by using her celebrity to inform women on options that they would not be made aware of otherwise (through western medicine), and to let them know that there are alternatives.

I was stunned as I'm sure most everyone was to hear of Farrah Fawcett's battle with cancer and I will take this opportunity to wish her a speedy recovery from this life-shattering illness.

Remember that Cancer cannot thrive in an alkaline system. Also remember what Dr. Linus Pauling, winner of two Nobel Prizes stated: "You can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment to a mineral deficiency."
Hippocrates (by whom physicians take the 'Hippocratic' oath) stated: "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food".

Here are some other items that you may want to explore further:

IP-6 -- helps to eliminate iron from the system (iron is a cancer magnet)
Juvenon - (Dr. Weil takes this every day)
Longevinex - (this is Resveratrol, touted by health reporter/expert, Bill Sardi)
Transfer Factor Plus (shirleys-wellness-cafe sells this fantastic product)
Ganoderma (made with a variety of healing mushrooms)
"Medicine Man" tea (claims to help with certain cancers)
Tai-Chi
Okra Pepsin E-3
Goji juice, Acai juice, Mangosteen
Fulvic Acid / Shilajit
Ashwaghanda (Ayurvedic) Madonna takes Ayurvedic products
coffee enemas
