Bravo Launches Weekly Cooking Series Online

The second season of Bravo's "Top Chef" begins this week following the season finale of "Project Runway." But the cable network is taking a new promotion tactic, by extending the excitement of the show with an online companion series.

Chef Lee Anne Wong of Top Chef [photo: Bravo]"Top Recipe: The Wong Way To Cook," is an online cooking series dedicated to showcasing the winning recipe from each week's episode of "Top Chef." Each three-minute show will demonstrate for viewers how to make the dish, so they can replicate it at home.

Chef Lee Anne Wong, one of the most popular and highly-regarded chefs from the first season of Bravo's "Top Chef," will serve as the culinary talent for each webisode. Hence the show's title, which is a play on her name.

"This originally produced webisode series offers a new viewing opportunity to our highly engaged viewers," said Lauren Zalaznick, President of the Bravo Network. "It's a place where our viewers can log-on and further connect with one of their favorite Bravo personalities and explore the creative process -- in this case through Lee Anne's culinary arts."

The cooking series is filmed in New York City at The French Culinary Institute, where Wong currently serves as Executive Chef of Event Operations. She is also the culinary producer for season two of "Top Chef," and recently completed a gig as the culinary consultant on the new Warner Brothers remake of Mostly Martha starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart.

The second season of "Top Chef" airs on Bravo every Wednesday at 10pm (ET) starting October 18. "Top Recipe: The Wong Way To Cook" airs every Thursday, featuring that week's winning recipe, at bravotv.com.
