Sara Evans and Keith Urban are both taking a beating this week with problems in their personal lives taking center stage and overshadowing their music.

Sara Evans has filed for divorce from husband, Craig Schelske, citing a number of reasons that have to be causing her and her family all kinds of embarrassment.

When Sara announced that she wouldn’t be returning to Dancing with the Stars last week, it set off a firestorm of rumors that still don’t seem to be dying down. He said, she said is the name of the game at the moment. Sara fired first with her filing of divorce papers naming pornography, infidelity and inappropriate activities against husband Craig. She also asked for full custody of the couples three children and a restraining order. It has been reported that Craig pulled a large sum of money out of a joint account and moved it to an account in his name. Craig has fired back with accusations of his own that include infidelity with members of the country music industry, specifically Kenny Chesney, who she has toured with and an affair with her DWTS partner, Tony Dovolani. Both men deny any kind of affair with Sara. This could turn into one of the nastiest divorces country music has seen in a very long time.

Friday it was announced that Keith Urban has cancelled all upcoming promotional appearances connected with his upcoming CD. It has been reported that he has checked himself into rehab for alcohol abuse. This comes a mere four months after his big wedding to Nicole Kidman. With all the hoopla surrounding the engagement and wedding, then the upcoming release of his new CD, Keith has had to be under tremendous pressure and fell back into old habits.

Keith broke onto the scene as a solo act in 2000 with his self titled debut album and has wowed fans ever since. In 1988, Keith checked himself into rehab to battle a drug and alcohol addiction that he has openly talked about hoping to help others to overcome their addictions.
