This new feature presents an electronic version of my new Terra Tarot Deck, one card at a time. The seventeenth card available for download is The Knight of Swords.

The Knight of Swords is a man of few words, ever ready for action and battle (which he seldom loses). He applies his keen intellect and strong body to acts of bravery, and calls you to do the same. He is honest and blunt in his words, and prodes you to do your best, and to be totally real and true to your deep inner nature. He signals you to think things through carefully, to apply reason, logic, and analysis to any decisions, but especially to 'big' ones. As a person, he represents a strong, lean, vital young man with piercing (probably blue) eyes, aloof manner, and high intellect. He is truly the "strong and silent" type.
The symbology used in my rendition of the Knight of Swords shows a brave vigilent knight riding his trusty black steed, ready to defend the kingdom set deep in the remote desert landscape.
Since the theme of this deck is Terra, our Mother Earth, I elected to begin this illustration using a primitive landscape that showcases piercing mountains that also point straight up into the clear blueish purple sky. The foreground consists of a vast sandy desert plain that nicely contrasts the sky with its rich golden tones.
The Knight holds his long lance straight out in front of him, ready to fight any danger. At the top, a decorative Merkaba which represents the metaphysical spirit "vehicle" that becomes activated as we balance our chakras, meridians, and lifeforce brings hope floats above the Knight. At each side of the Merkaba, lies the elemental Air symbol to the left, and the Male gender symbol to the right, since the Swords are considered to be masculine in nature. To the left of the Knight lies an altar featuring a feminine moon symbol, guarded by a esoteric Chimera.
I am presenting an online version of the Terra Deck for our Bella readers. Just click on the banner below to download your copy of the Knight of Swords. Right click on the image that comes up and save to your selected folder.
