I really enjoyed reading this book, although it's not specifically focused on eBay or online auctions, it does devote several chapters to shopping at online auctions.

This book is perfect for those new to the internet and can help set you at ease when trying to decide if you should start flashing your debit / credit cards for that new garden gnome. There's even tips for the seasoned online shopper too, I garnered a few great tips that I didn't know prior to reading the book, such as using copy /paste to enter sensitive information (passwords, account numbers) into an input box to protect you from key-logging scripts.

I especially liked the sections that talked about buying from foreign countries as well as other sections that went into detail on how to protect yourself online.

The best find in this book was learning about using discount codes and where to find them before you make a purchase, this alone has already saved me enough money to cover the purchase of the book.

If you're looking for a "How-To" book ... this book is not for you, but if you want to learn how other sellers built their eBay business then this book is perfect for you.

I always teach my customers to seek out the top sellers in the market they want to sell in, study them, research what makes them great, find their weaknesses and then build your business from what you learned.

This book allows you to take a behind the scenes tour of 18 successful eBay sellers and see what it really takes to move into the top level of Powersellers.

One of my favorites is about an eBay Motors seller who has captured one of the most under utilized segments of the eBay market place. There's not a whole lot of information on selling on eBay Motors, buy after read this sellers story you will see the potential and come away with information that could help you jump into that market as well.

Although I would have liked to see more "How-To" information I think "The eBay Millionaire" is an inspiring read.
