Are you having trouble deciding what to get that cool rider in your life for Fathers Day?
I have some suggestions listed by price point.
Club or brand patches, pins, insignia, bandanas: $7 to $30 ea. These are sure to please and are great thank yous for your special man. You can find these at your local dealership, swap meets, flea markets, and eBay.
Motorcycle Books: A Twist of The Wrist is a must have for riders who want to improve their cornering and maneuvering skills.
Custom embroidered t-shirts: This site provides custom embroidered motorcycle
t-shirts with the motorcycling saying of your choice and your style of motorcycle embroidered on the front or back of the t-shirt. They come in a variety of colors to choose from and long and short sleeve. I ordered some for all my friends and not only were they high quality, but they were a great price. You can visit Ed and Karen Novakowski’s site and see what they have to offer by clicking clothing-decorative below and then Charismacolor. Prices range per order from $15 to $30 per t-shirt and have a very short lead time. Let them know I recommended them.
Motorcycle Beverage Cup Holder: The Kruzer Kaddy is a stainless steel accessory/beverage holder with an insulated liner that is quickly detachable from the chrome-plated mounting hardware. It can be used for holding cell phones, sunglasses, radios, 16 oz. to 20 oz. bottles, 12 oz. cans, and other beverages, etc. The all-metal construction is not only durable, but is also attractive so as to not distract from the look of one's motorcycle. Prices start at $36 ea. The Kruzer Kaddy comes in stainless, black, and leather. You can find out where to get the Kruzer Kaddy by clicking on motorcycle accessories below and then Kruzer Kaddy. I have one of these and I love my beverage holder!
Soft Saddlebags: Storage space is always a great gift especially for all the motorcycle fashions for after riding. The prices range from $100 to $200 for a good set of soft saddlebags. Nylon or cordura bags are especially durable, lightweight, and weather resistant. You can check out the saddlebag offerings by clicking on motorcycle accessories below and then shop for saddlebags or just an extra storage over the passenger seat bag.
GPS: What man doesn’t like gadgets, especially the hot new item for motorcycles, the Global Positioning System or GPS. These systems show the biker where he is at all times and how to get where they want to go. A GPS takes a bit of the mystery out of touring but is a great gadget. These systems have varied price ranges from $199 and up depending on what style you get and mounting equipment. To read more about GPS equipment, click on Motorcycle Accessories below or if you click on the GPS picture below.
Motorcycle Bar Stool: Talk about a conversation piece. You can buy stools in the shape of a motorcycle seat or just a regular bar stool with the motorcycle brand name on it. eBay has the motorcycle stool in the shape of a motorcycle seat for a little over $100 each with shipping. Amazon has the bar stools with the brand name of your favorite motorcycle.
Gift Certificate: If you can't decide, you can always go to your biker's favorite dealership, custom, repair, or paint shop and purchase a gift certificate. You name the price and the service or product.
Priceless: If you are on a tight budget and money is in short supply, you can always rent a biker movie such as "The Wild Ones", "Easy Rider", "Ghost Rider" or "Wild Hogs", and dress up in your favorite riding gear, make some popcorn and settle down for a peaceful night in.
Until next week, ride safe.
