To print that which compells us toward self-examination and the wisdom only a writer acquainted with the shadow self can offer, like songs and stories that yield a harvest of insights. To satisfy our reader's inner cries for joy and help them more deeply appreciate a universe filled with possibility. Call for Submissions - A New autobiographical anthology We are looking for walkers, climbers, mountaineers, nature-lovers, star gazers, midnight ramblers, artists, farmers, conservationists, pilgrims and pot-holers – women whose lives and work are inspired by the welsh landscape. What does your connection to the natural world mean to you ? Is it an important part of your everyday life, or do you recall one special moment or walk on which you felt an intimate connection with the landscape around you ? Have you pushed yourself to the limit on a climb or pitted yourself against the elements ? Why did you do it ? Have you taken a pilgrimage , a spiritual or emotional journey on foot ? Did you gain an greater understanding of yourself and the world around you ? If you have found yourself in your element in the Welsh landscape, we'd like to hear from you. We are looking for autobiographical pieces between ( 1000 and 4000 words ), which relate strongly to a particular place or series of places in Wales. - Spinsters Ink

Fiction Those interested in submitting adult fiction can either send an outline together with sample chapters, or a complete manuscript. If you are writing for young adults, you can send a story proposal or a complete manuscript. Please keep in mind that as a feminist press we are looking for non-sexist, non-racist stories which relate to young people's lives today.
