Myers Jigsaw Puzzle

Odie the Myers Parrot posed for a picture, so I could make this jigsaw puzzle for you to try.

As always, you can make this puzzle easier (or harder) by changing the shape and number of pieces.

The Meyers Parrot is from the Poicephalus family and are native to central and eastern Africa where they live in relative good numbers. They make very good pets and are a nice size (8 - 9 inches) for anyone to handle. The more familiar Senegal Parrot is also a member of the Poicephalus family.

Meyers Parrots can talk, but do not normally have a large vocabulary. They will also mimic familiar sounds, such as the microwave oven, squeeky doors and telephones.

Odie is quite a character. He loves being with his mom Melissa, especially when they are away from home. At home he is sometimes a brat!

This picture was taken at Oak Hammock Marsh in Manitoba when the Parrot Club of Manitoba attended for their annual visit for Snowbird Beach Days.
