Welcome!
I’m inviting you to sign up for the free LDS Families Newsletter. (If you’re raising a family, the word ‘free’ often brings a sense of relief, doesn’t it? I know it does me.)
Families are important to you. That’s why you’re reading this. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe that families don’t end when the youngest one leaves the nest, or even if you never had a nest. Families don’t end even when members pass on to the other side. Families are forever. They are eternal.
But they can create challenges. That’s how LDS Families and the LDS Families newsletter can help.
At LDS Families, there is a new article posted each week which addresses an aspect of family life. There is also an archive of past articles you can tap into for ideas, help and encouragement. Subjects range from A Gospel Life, to Home Management, even Teenagers and Younger Children. There are tips and advice, book and movie reviews, budgeting hints and so much more. Best of all, each article conforms to LDS standards and is written to give you a sense of hope and encouragement, to reaffirm how much the Lord loves you and your family. Even if some of your family members choose to live outside of the Lord’s fold, LDS Families will give you a sense that your family is special, and that you are, too.
By signing up for the LDS Families newsletter, you will be informed each week of the newest article and ideas available at LDS Families. I will also suggest an archived article for you to enjoy. This newsletter will give you a small taste of what others are enjoying right now at LDS Families. No, you don’t have to be a member to visit LDS Families or sign up for the free newsletter. This is for everyone.
So how do you sign up for the newsletter? Look to the right of this article. You’ll see a box entitled “Free Newsletter”. All you have to do is type in your e-mail address in the space below. That’s it. No phone numbers, no personal dress or pant size is required. Best of all, we won’t even tell others your e-mail address. It will not be sold, bartered or traded. It will be guarded as private by BellaOnline. You trusted us and we will honor that trust. After you subscribe, you will receive a confirmation that you have been added to the newsletter mailing list, then start looking for your weekly newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
New at LDS Families, I’m very excited to grow with you. (If you want to learn more about me, just click on my name at the top of the page. It will take you to my bio page.) I’m taking over for Terrie Lynn Bittner, the wonderful writer and editor who built this site and managed it for several years. Terrie is still with us at Bella. She has just moved to a new area. Drop by and see what she is doing at Teaching LDS, and while you are there sign up for her free newsletter! She offers one, too! But, before you go, please sign up for the LDS Families newsletter.
As soon as you get a chance, drop me a line sharing what you would like to see at LDS Families and in the new newsletter. Tell me, also, what features and type of articles you’ve really liked in the past so we can keep them going. How do you contact me? At the bottom of this article you will see ‘Contact T. Lynn Adams for details”. Simply click on it. Or you can look to the right of this article, just above where you signed up for the newsletter, and click on the circled envelope. Both places will send you to my bio page. At the bottom of that page is a box for your e-mail address and any suggestions or comments you have.
I am so anxious to hear from you and gain your valuable input. With your insights and wisdom, this can be your site and your newsletter. So let’s share the joys of family life together!
