Jason Aldean - Relentless

Wow, the sophomore album released by Jason Aldean is no slouch. Relentless goes far to establish Jason as an artist to watch, he isn’t going anywhere.

With the fastest rising single of his career, Johnny Cash climbing the charts, Jason has avoided the curse of the second CD not living up to promise of his debut. Jason teamed up with the same producer, Michael Knox, that produced his debut CD. He also utilized the talents of John Rich as a cowriter on his single Johnny Cash.

Tracks:
Johnny Cash talks about rebelling against the rules and restraints placed on him and his girlfriend by parents and society in general.

Laughed Until We Cried is about remembering the good times with friends and family, sharing stories and adventures.

Do You Wish It Was Me talks about asking an ex-girlfriend if she is happy or if she wishes she had stayed with him.

I Use What I Got talks about not worrying about what everyone else has and being happy with where you are and what you have.

Who's Kissing You Tonight is about an ex and wondering who she is with and if she is happy, whether she remembers the good times they had together.

Relentless talks about the love of a woman that “just keeps coming” no matter how far and fast he runs. (My favorite cut on the CD.)

My Memory Ain't What It Used To Be talks about remembering past relationships and not remembering the bad times, just the good.

No talks about just following the road and see where it takes you. You can’t control everything, some things happen for a reason.

Back In This Cigarette talks about the pain of losing a love and trying to find her is like “putting smoke back in this cigarette”.

Grown Woman teams Jason with Miranda Lambert singing about how she did him wrong.

I Break Everything I Touch talks about how he can’t stay in a relationship and he “breaks every heart” he is given.

Not Every Man Lives is about actually living and putting yourself out there ready to deal with the pain of losing things important to you.

Love or hate the new acts coming up on the scene, this is one CD that will keep you hooked from beginning to end. You can put it into your car and just drive along singing with Jason. There has to be a song on here that everyone can relate to in the lyrics.
