Sustainable, biodegradable, organic, green, VOC, geothermal, solar, wind, zero waste, litterless lunches, SLS, active ingredients vs inactive ingredients, composting… and the list goes on. What does it all mean?
These terms are everywhere, distinguishing our socially and environmentally responsible era from the one of convenience and 'disposablility'.
Each week, as the Natural Living Editor for Bellaonline.com, I will post relevant, topical articles that share my experiences and the resources I gather as I journey through my ‘green path’. Articles cover everything from shopping to parenting to energy conservation to keeping a green home and workplace. I have book and DVD reviews to post along with ideas on how you can be an environmentally conscious leader in your local and global communities.
Please take a look at the categories I have set up for the web site. Feel free to make recommendations for other categories and/or topic ideas. And, I invite you to sign up for my free newsletter. It’s a brief email that notifies you when I post my latest article. I will keep it text format for now, so it doesn’t take a lot of space in your inbox or too much time to read. I know how busy we all are!
To sign up, look to the right of this article. You’ll see a box labelled 'Free Newsletter'. Just type in your email address and you’re done. You won’t be required to give me any information about yourself after you click. Your information won’t be sold or shared, and even I won’t know who signed up unless your newsletter bounces and your ISP sends me a bounce notice. You can also unsubscribe at any time.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation notice. This just lets you know if your spam filter is letting me through. If you don’t get one, please let me know.
Thanks for visiting my site!
