Pop in the long awaited CD of Trin-i-tee 5:7, entitled T:57 off the new Spirit Rising label and right away you're hit with the roar of Chenelle Hayes saying with a voice that would put anybody on alert..."Listen Hear"! So begins the journey of a power-packed, rhythmic, fusion of hip-hop and traditional gospel that is really worth "listening" to.

Singing of the fact that they are not about "people pleasing...it's all about serving Jesus" The ladies come out the block swinging and the high energy doesn't stop with the first track. The old school feeling "I Need You" will surely make the "grown folks" smile. The congo driven, semi-island with a touch of go-go tune "Reflection" is a fun track and tells you so in the lyrics.

The project isn't all speed jams the old standard "My Soul is Anchored" and the pensive "I Will Lift" written by Angel Taylor, (most of the songs are written by members of the group...a new thing for them) which is a sweet ballad that speaks of lifting up the name of God in spite of our trails, give us that slow groove of Trin-i-tee that we all know and love. The girls were recently faced with a serious trial when Chenelle and Angel lost their family homes in Hurricane Katrina. This is part of the catalyst that birthed the song for Angel. "I remember I wanted to write a song that basically stated what the relationship (with God) means to me. I just sat down and the words just came to me. It is a sincere song and I think the audience feels it each time we perform it" she stated.

I am happy to report that they are now in new homes that were constructed by loving family and friends. "They worked together as a family and they even documented it with a video" states Adrian. "It was a beautiful testament to how you must rise to the occasion in life" she added.

The group along with their label launched “Ambassadors of Hope & Triumph Campaign” a humanitarian effort that will culminate this October. The 2007 campaign will serve Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, the areas adversely impacted or devastated by hurricanes Katrina, Rita and their aftermaths.

The ladies are traveling across the country to promote their project performing in various venues and will be in Atlanta on October 26&27 for Gospel Superfest. They also have several plans in the works including some possible TV and movie deals. "Trin-i-tee 5:7 is a brand that we hope to translate in the entertainment industry via commercial television and film" states Adrian.

In terms of the new project the ladies state that whatever God has for it will be fine with them. "We want for this project what we can't imagine" says Adrian. "We want God to reveal to us what He wants for it and that will be enough for us" she adds.
