The Game Plan - Children's Movies

In the film, The Game Plan, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Alan Fickman, the story is centered on a rugged superstar quarterback named Joe Kingman (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), who is known for being one of the toughest players to ever take the field. Blessed with amazing strength and agility, Joe is famed for being able to handle any type of hit, no matter how ferocious. As Joe’s Boston-based pro football team, The Rebels, chases after their long-awaited championship, Joe is the ‘serial bachelor’ living the ultimate fantasy life: he’s cool, rich, famous and the life of the party.

Unfortunately his dream is suddenly sacked when he discovers Peyton (Madison Pettis), a 7-year old product of a final fling he had, years prior, before parting ways with his young wife. Not knowing that she even existed, she suddenly ends up on his doorstep. Now, just as his career is soaring, Joe must learn how to juggle his old lifestyle of parties, practices, and dates with supermodels, while tackling new challenges of ballet, bedtime stories and dolls. Even Joe’s hard-edged, mega agent, Stella Peck (Kyra Sedgwick), unable to even comprehend the concept of parenting, is equally perplexed by the situation. As the championship nears, Joe is about to realize that the game that truly matters does not have a thing to do with money, endorsements, or even touchdowns. The real game is all about the really tough stuff: patience, teamwork, selflessness and winning the heart of the one little fan who turns out to count the most.
