2014 Horn Book Award Winners

Boston Globe – 2014 Horn Book Award Winners

The Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards are among the most respected and significant honors in the field of children’s and young adult literature, and are awarded annually.

Each year winners are chosen in three categories: Picture Book, Fiction and Poetry, and Nonfiction. Each year there is also a possibility for two Honor Books to be named within each category, and occasionally, a book may receive a special citation for its high quality and overall innovative distinction. Although the author and illustrator may be citizens of any country, the winning books must have been published in the United States.
