So far I have set up two categories. One deals with rugmaking of all kinds and includes books on various types of rugs as well as books on rug making. Here one will find books on oriental rugs, oilcloth, quilted rugs and Navaho rugs.

The second category is devoted to hooked rugs and thus features several books on rug hooking and design. It is a craft - and often an art - that is widely practiced and on which many books have been written.

These listings are intended to assist those who want to buy a book on rug making and those who want to go to the library.

The store is new and categories will be added for other types of rugmaking for which books are available. I foresee categories for braided rugs, rag rugs, knitted rugs, woven rag rugs and crochet rugs.

In addition to this handpicked list, there is a sidebar that is regularly updated by Amazon. In this way I want to ensure that the most updated information is available.
