As always, you may have to scroll over to get the whole puzzle in your computer window. You can make this easier (or harder) by changing the size and shape of the puzzle pieces.

The Blue and Gold Macaw is the most common bird in the macaw family. Many people feel that the brilliant blue and gold colours make it the most beautiful of these large birds. The B&G Macaw loves to clown around. They are often found hanging upside down, hanging on by just one toe.
People who are not familiar with macaws may be intimidated by their large beaks. The beaks are certainly large enough to cause serious damage if the bird wanted to, but generally they are very gentle.
Macaws still fly free in South America. Like many of the birds we keep as pets, they are endangered in the wild due to loss of habitat, although the Blue and Gold Macaw is probably the least endangered of the large macaws.
Please drop by the forum where we talk about our pet birds (including macaws).
