Other venues offer great deals for both sellers and buyers. Lower listing fees for sellers translates into lower prices for sellers. A good deal is a good deal no matter where you find it.
Amazon Market Place
No listing fee, but Amazon charges .99 plus a percentage of your sale price, plus a closing cost. The percentage varies depending on the type of item sold.

Very nice professional looking stores for a monthly fee of $59.99 + 7% commission.
Amazons costs might not appeal to small sellers, but they offer access to a large segment of buyers and have a reputation as a trusted site.

The name says it all, painting, glass, metal, pottery all forms of art are offered for sale on this site. There are no listing or final value fees. The only charges are for optional upgrades to bold or featured listing.

Australian based company offers store listings on a sliding scale starting at $2.00 for 100 listings. There are no final value fees.
Bidville.com
Offers auction format and stores. No listing fees for auctions, but Bidville charges a "Final Success Fee" on items that sell. Bidville charge a minimum monthly fee for stores.
Blujay.com
Promotes itself as 100% free. Allows you to post unlimited number of items for up to 180 day with 4 photos per listing.
Bonanzle
Fixed price store format. Free to list, but charges a modest final value fee on a sliding scale. You can import both your items and your feedback form ebay. Listings do not expire.

If you're looking for a place to sell original, handmade items Esty is a site that deserves your attention. Etsy provides sellers with a storefront and charges .20 cents listing fee for each item and 3.5% of the sale price. Listing fee includes up to 5 photos per item and the listing remains in your store for 4 months.
As a buyer I really like this site. If you like art and/or craft shows this site should appeal to you, too. It's filled with original items that make great gifts. I really like the idea of giving handmade items their own venue.
