Easy Card Tricks

Learning card tricks can make you a hit at any party. Learning how a card trick is done can be exciting and make you feel like you know something you shouldn't. Here is a card trick that has been around for a while and is easy to pull off. It doesn't take much skill but does require a special type of card deck to make sure everything goes as planned.

The one card trick that I know is very simple. You will ask a person to draw a card and then stick it back in the deck. With absolute certainty, you will then be able to find their card.

This is an easy card trick that will take a little prep work. You will need a deck of cards that has some sort of design on the back of the cards. You will have to be able to tell one end from the other, so the standard looking decks will not work. Think of decks with a design on them like souvenir decks or a card deck with words. It will be important that you can tell one end from the other since therein lies the whole secret to this trick.

Before presenting the card deck to someone to pick a card, turn all the cards the same way. This is why it's important to tell one end from the other. Fan out the cards and ask the person to choose a card. Then bring all of the cards back together. Next comes the tricky part. Turn the whole deck 90 degrees and fan the cards back out. Ask the person to place their card back in the deck. Now go through the cards and find the one that is turned the wrong way. Show the card to the person and ask if that is their card.

The trick to pulling this off is the turning of the card deck. This must be done fast and unnoticeable to the other person. Bring the deck close to your body and pretend to shuffle when all you are really doing is turning the cards around.

This little card trick has been around for a while and might be too well known to really fool anyone. It is a fun first card trick to teach children though. They will be amazed and want to learn how to do it. It might even pique their interest to learn more about magic tricks.
