Starting today, all wine reviews will include, at least, a picture of the front label of each bottle of wine that I review. As an example, I have written a review of my 6th bottle of Bordeaux and this is an example of the wine label that I will be including with the review.
Reserve de Beau-Rivage, Bordeaux Eleve en futs de chene
I did not make a picture of the back label since it really did not add anything to the content of the story and since my last French class was 37 years ago, I could not tell you what it said anyway.
So why am I making the change? One of the things I really enjoy about the web is seeing a picture of a wine that someone is reviewing, so I can print it off and then show retailers the picture and ask, “Do you have this wine? Can you get this wine?” It would be nice to have a color printer at home so I could print it in color, but my black and white does the job OK and the retailers I go to do not care about the color of the print out as much as what it says and what the label looks like.
So I hope you like this little addition that I am adding to future wine reviews and I hope that it will make finding the wines I write about a little easier to locate. A friend told me that I should add an image tag (whatever that is) to the picture to identify it as mine, since by right mouse clicking the picture you can download it and it does not have my name on it. It will be something I will be looking into, when I get time. Maybe after I win the Power Ball and have nothing else better to do but sit and write wine reviews and create image tags.
One more thing came to mind that I will pass along. I have not been able to learn the audio editing software program that I had to get so I could edit the Dennis Martin interview. So I have put it online with all of the ums and ahs and things that probably should be edited out, but have not had the time to learn yet another piece of software. I wanted to get this into your ears as soon as possible. So here is the link to the Dennis Martin interview I did last month:

All of the money I make from sales on these affiliate links this summer will be donated to the Susan B Koman Race for the Cure, in Colorado Springs. Next month I should have my personal web site up that I will be able to post online for you to make donations directly. Thank you for your support!
Oh - I changed my picture that you see on the main page and all of my article pages. I was in wine country on a wine trail a couple of weeks ago, and this shot was taken next to a grape vine.
Until next time, let me know what is on your mind, and how you are doing, O.K.?
