I never thought the weird attraction between Carly and Holden would amount to anything. When they started to comfort each other, a red flag went up for me, but I thought they would exchange kisses and that would be the end of that. That was just the beginning. As it turns out, Carly and Holden ended up taking their kids to summer camp, because Jack and Lily were unable to accompany them. It seems that fate was not on their side, because a series of occurrences kept pushing them together. They were stuck at camp overnight and in the same cabin. And when Holden attempts to sleep on the top bed of the bunk bed, the bed collapses and he and Carly end up having to share a bed. And, as you can imagine, one thing led to another. After arriving home, looking guilty and suspicious, Holden informs Carly that he will confess everything to Lily. But Holden is running out of time, because of one tiny detail. Holden’s daughter, Faith, caught Holden and Carly together in the cabin. So if Holden doesn’t tell Lily, certainly Faith will.
Casey Hughes has made a rash of mistakes, but this is one for the record books. Emily is twisted and has always been a little scatterbrained, but as she is considerably older than Casey, you’d think she would step back a bit and see the situation clearly for what it is – a young man who gets a thrill out of defying his parents. When the steam clears, Tom will never allow Emily to see her son, Daniel, and Margo will forget she’s a cop and attack Emily for “corrupting” her precious Casey.
Sophie's behavior is borderline psychotic. First of all, she terrorizes Will and Gwen with Hallie, wavering in her decision about the adoption. Then she schemes and throws herself at Paul repeatedly. Her jealousy towards Meg has gotten the best of her and she ends up drugging Barbara to frame Meg, but almost kills Barbara in the process. And if that weren’t enough, she is now attempting to trick Paul into thinking that the baby she is carrying is his! I can see why Cole & Sophie get along so well.
