Whether you are like most of us and have been a little tight on cash lately or your bank account is busting at the seams why not save money where you can? I mean after all who doesn't like free money?
Claudette McGowan will be your best friend after you read her amazing tips on how to get everything from CDs, sports memorabilia, scholarships, meals and even furniture completely for free. Just follow her directions and you will even be able to get the government to pay for your child's hockey registration!
One thing I adore more about this book is how simple McGowan makes everything. I personally I hate trying to find any information out from the government, expectably if it is how to get money from them. It just makes my head spin just thinking about it, they just make everything so damn confusing and hard to understand. When McGowan explains these same things however it seems SO simple. Honestly, it can not be THAT easy to get free money...can it? Well guess what, turns out it is!
Who knew the government would shell out a whopping $500 to put your child in sports programs or that there is a web site dedicated to letting you know what restaurants will let you (or your kids) eat for free and on which days.
The book is filled cover to cover with countless other tips like how to get free contact lenses, diapers, vacations and even video games. Seriously there is something in here for the whole family even the pets!
Honestly my only complaint about this book is that it is to short. I also found that a good portion of it was filled with information I already knew and wished she had more tips on area's I wasn't already aware of. However the information that I already knew may turn out to be a fantastic knew find for you. It is because of this that I still strongly suggest you check this book out for yourself. I really do hope that McGowan will do more versions of this book, maybe even one for each Province and Territory.
The book is organized great, everything is sorted by sections such as Babies, School and Technology making everything a snap to find.
My final review of this book is that it is a great tool for everyone to keep at hand. Though I may have known some of the tips already the ones that I was not aware of turned out to be so useful that I plan on buying a new copy for myself as soon as my library one is due back!
