Honeymoon at the Anniversary Inn

It may sound like youíre putting the cart before the horse if you honeymoon at the Anniversary Inn, but the theme rooms at this B&B make a festive place to spend your wedding night.

With locations in Logan and Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as Boise, Idaho, these arenít the most exotic places for honeymoons. But if youíre getting married in any of these cities, and want a fun place to spend your first night as man and wife (perhaps before hopping on a plane to a further-flung honeymoon locale), you may want to check out the Anniversary Inn. Plus, with itís theme rooms like "Arabian Nights," "Mysteries of Egypt" and "South Pacific," you might feel as if you've been transported to a foreign country!

While the specific suites and amenities differ at the B&B's four different locations (two in Salt Lake City), you can expect some wildly designed rooms. Like a bed in a lighthouse and ocean murals on the wall in the "Lighthouse" suite; a jetted tub set into "sand" in the "Treasure Island" suite; a two-level "Sleeping Beauty Castle" with a queen-sized bed in your romantic "tower"; and polar-bear paintings in the all-white "Arctic Suite."

Truly, there is a theme room for just about everyone -- if motorcycles are your thing, check out the "Biker's Road House" in Boise or if you're into medieval history, consider "King Arthur's Castle" in Logan.

Rates at this romantic inn range from about $139 to $319 a night, depending on the location, choice of suite, and day of the week (Friday and Saturday nights are pricier). But your room rate does included breakfast delivered to your room each morning of your stay, as well as other treats like freshly baked cookies every afternoon, and sparkling cider and cheesecake upon check-in. Each room includes Jacuzzi tubs for two and large-screen TVs.

The Anniversary Inn website features 360-degree virtual tours of every suite at each property. Visitors are also welcome to tour the properties before making their final choice in accommodations.
