"All Hollow's eve", is an expression that conjures up all sorts of ghostly fun. From haunted houses and tours to centuries-old tales of terror. But, what happens when bumps and whispers in the night begin invading our homes?
It's fun to be scared, especially during the Halloween season. But some doors can be difficult to close once tampered with, whether we've unwittingly stumbled across a portal to the Other Side or gone out of our way in search of one.
Ghosts are generally thought to exist separately if at all from us. The truth is they're really much closer than we think. Usually, we'll co-exist uneventfully, but sometimes we attract these entities without even knowing it. Seemingly harmless events such as ghost tours, seances or parlor games like Oui Ja boarding, seances, or other rituals can be the trigger. If this happens we may begin noticing shadows, mists and apparitions or experience disturbances in energy such as flickering lights, scents, sounds and voices increasing over time.
Before engaging in any paranormal activity, doing as much research as you can instead of venturing blindly will help not only in achieving the desired result, but explain some of the the negative aspects as well. If you happen to move into a home that was previously haunted, smudging the home with herbs and sea salt and investigating courthouse records will give you a healthy start.
Powerful tools such as shielding and clearing are also helpful. Envisioning a protective light before entering a residence as well as a favorite prayer will let entities know up front, where you stand. Where we have body language, they have conscious language. Most entities with respect to your wishes, will understand the difference between casual interest and enjoyment and a mercy mission.
Clearing afterwards can be done outside the residence by stretching your arms above your head while breathing in deeply, making brushing movements with your hands begining with your feet and breathing out. The idea is disturbing any resistant energy particles you may have picked up along the way.
Remember, always follow your intuition and you never have to travel far to get to the Other Side.
