Your family can re-live the Wild West with a visit to Rawhide, Arizona.

Located just a few miles south of Phoenix! Step back into time with a visit to this adventuresome town, complete with saloons, rough riders, gun shows, stagecoach and train rides and other wild west performances.

You can even pan for gold and strike it rich.

Experience what the earliest settlers did by visiting the towns' shops and historical sites.

When you arrive in Rawhide, you won't want to miss a visit to the "Six Gun Theatre" located in the middle of town, where you can see a real live gun fight right before your eyes. Exciting stunts and daring falls will thrill you and make you feel like you are right in the middle of the action.

You will want to experience an authentic Wild West meal at the Rawhide Steakhouse, which serves up mouth-watering grilled western specialties including rattlesnake! Enjoy western hospitality and live entertainment while you dine.

Then take a ride on the real mule-drawn "Butterfield" stagecoach or the "Desert Train Ride" and enjoy the sites and sounds of desert life. You may even want to take a ride on a real camel if you are the hardy Wild West type.

Once you are back in town, you will want to visit the dozens of shops selling authentic western wares and native artwork. You can experience the life and talents of the people of the Wild West.

If you are feeling lucky, you may want to try your hand at panning for gold, just like the hopeful souls of the Wild West did.

The kids will enjoy visiting the petting zoo or playing games in our indoor gallery while the adults can sip cool drinks in the Steakhouse Saloon.

The day will leave you feeling like you have experienced the Wild West and may make you want to travel West on your own adventure.
