Orange - Cranberry Relish

Orange - Cranberry Relish

  • 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 large naval orange
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • dash ground cloves
  • dash ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Preparation -
Cut and peel the orange. Remove any seeds. Place half the cranberries and half the orange sections in a food processor. Chop coarsely. Pour into a bowl. Repeat with remaining cranberries and orange sections. Add to bowl, then stir in the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Chill at least 2 or 3 hours before serving.
