What's in the Bible for Women - Book Review

Author Georgia Curtis Ling shows insight and humor in speaking to women about many of the issues that concern them today. Each topic is covered in a relevant and down-to-earth manner and broken down into easy to digest bites.

The just over 300 pages of the book are divided into four parts; each divided into three chapters.

I found “What’s in the Bible for Women” to be a very comfortable topical Bible study. It is useful for several types of Bible study. Beginners can read through the information in each chapter to get an understanding of the content. Those who are more acquainted with Bible study can use the abundant scripture references to gain deeper understanding.

Each chapter is broken into enough topic divisions to make it easy to complete several short studies within each chapter. It is also constructed so as to be of use for a group Bible study, possibly covering a chapter each week.

Georgia Curtis Ling is a bestselling author who writes about faith, love and life. She graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a major in Bible and has been teaching and helping women since. She lives with her husband in a log cabin in Kentucky.

The general editor, Dr. Larry Richards has taught and written Sunday school curriculum for every age group, from nursery though adult. H has published more than two hundred books. He and his wife live in Raleigh, North Carolina.
