Grow Longer Eyelashes - Product Review

Most of us, having reached the age of forty or more, have noticed that our eyelashes start to change. When we are young, the hairs that are our eyelashes, like the hairs on our head, are strong and thick and grow at a healthy rate. As we age, these natural processes start to slow down. Our eyelashes may start to thin, get shorter or start to break off more easily. Eyebrows also start to thin.

My lashes were never what would be called long but they were thick and had a natural curl. I never had to use an eyelash curler to get them to turn upward. In the last five to ten years my eyelashes have seemed to be shorter than before and I have noticed that they had straighteded. They did not curl on their own anymore. My eyebrows have been thinning for several years as well. I accepted the condition as a natural aging process, thinking that there was not hope of improvement.

When I saw the product called Lashfod, I was skeptical but also hopeful. Lashfood is a natural eyelash conditioning stimulant. It is said to contain sixteen types of herb extracts and essential vitamins and to be irritation-free, safe and effective. The literature stated that it would condition and strengthen lashes to naturally become fuller with more volume. It also promised to make them thicker, darker and longer. The literature also said Lashfood could be used on eyebrows. I had to try it. What woman doesn’t want longer eyelashes?

Eighteen days ago I applied my first Lashfood treatment. It is packaged in a tube like a tube of mascara. The brush is small like the brush used with liquid eyeliner. Lashfood is applied just like eyeliner – at the base of the eyelashes. I used it on both upper and lower lashes and also applied it to my eyebrows. The product felt wet but did not irritate the delicate eye lid skin.

I have used Lashfood twice a day for each of the eighteen days and I am happy to say that I have noticed a change. I first noticed that my eyelashes started to curl again. No more forcing them to turn up with mascara. My lashes also seem to be returning to their youthful length. My eyebrows have improved also, although not as much. The thin spots have begun to fill in.

After a few weeks, I have begun to use LashFood only at night. It sometimes formed a film over my eye that caused blurry vision. By using it at night and washing it off in the morning, I remain clear eyed.

Lahfood is an expensive product. I found it on the Internet priced from $115 for $129. However, with using it twice a day, it is said to last five months. With five months of use, the cost breaks down to $23 to $25.80 per month. I don’t consider this a bad price for quality skin care. If the condition of my eyelashes and eyebrows continues to improve, Lashfood is well worth the price.

Luxury at an affordable price.
