I was contacted by Larry Gavrich of www.golfcommunityreviews.com asking me why I hadnít written more about Golf Community living. I had written one article about that a few years ago and just never thought about writing more. He asked me if I would write a review of our Golf Course and community that may interest his readers in golf properties. I was more than willing to do this as every little bit of information about Mill Creek Golf Club would certainly help the club. He also said I could use pictures so I agreed to add a review for his web site. Mill Creek Golf Club is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design and is located in Salado, Texas on Interstate #35 half way between Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin, Texas.
I was pleased to write this article as have been involved with Mill Creek Golf Club for many years and have seen it grow and even when they were hit by some trying times. I have been coming to this community for many years as my husband and I owned one of the townhouses since 1984. We used this townhouse in the winter for a few months coming from the Iowa it was a respite from the snow and cold. Since my husband passed away I have moved here and purchased a patio home on the Heart of Texas golf hole.
On Mr. Gavrichís web site Golf Community Reviews he covers many of the southern state of America with articles about golf course living. The southern states such as Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia are listed on this Web site. Mr. Gavrich writes articles about properties and the many different states that have golf community living. .If you are interested in any state you can check up on his web site and find golf communities that sound inviting. This is a great service for any retired couples who are interested to moving south where golf is available all year round.
Living on a golf course has many advantages. If you are an avid golfer you have your entertainment in front of you every day. Since our Club lets you own your own golf cart there is no lifting of golf bags and your equipment is always handy. My home has its own golf cart garage and driving to and from the Club House makes for very easy living. I am not far from the driving range so can practice as much as possible.
You can check out my article as Mr. Gavrich posted it on his web site. I was very pleased with how it came out. Salado is a very unique community and has much to offer anyone who is interested in golf and community involvement. This article will give you a brief look at our community and the surrounding area. This is what Mr. Gavrich is hoping to do, offer a service to people who are looking for golf course living.
If any reader lives in a golf community contact Mr. Gavrich and let him know where you are located and see if he would want to post your article.
