Hello, and welcome back! We're having unseasonably warm temps here the past few days, but if the local weather guesser is correct, we might see a little snow in a couple more days. Yay! On the other hand, I'm not holding my breath waiting for it, based on how accurate the forecasts have been already this season.

This time out, I have a new anthology from Delilah Devlin, Texas Men(Aphrodisia). This one returns to the town of Honkeytonk, Texas, and takes on several cowboy-types you may have met in her previous collection. "Bound and Determined" has bar owner Tara Toomey, who hosts the annual 'Hook-Up' every year, but this year, she isn't going to let anyone else have Cody Westhofen in the auction. She may not want anyone to know they've hooked up in the past, but staking her claim so publicly is sure to set tongues wagging in the small town. In "Breezy Ridin'", judge's daughter Sarah Michelson is well known for her wild behavior, but when deputies Joe Chavez and Logan Ross pull her over for riding her motorcycle naked, she offers herself in exchange for letting her go. But Joe has no intention of letting her go; he's made up his mind this wild child is going to be all his, and if he has to share her with his buddy to convince her, he will. In "Night Watch", Amy Keating lives right next door to Logan Ross. The quiet schoolteacher is completely not his usual type, but Logan can't wait to get his hands on her, and to entice her, he stages a very explicit show that she can't possibly miss. His biggest surprise, though, might be Amy's reaction. As with the previous collection, there's lots of sex here, but it's a bit light on story. Of course, when a reader is buying erotica collections, they're often not looking for much story anyway, so I suppose that isn't going to be a problem for fans. For me, though, while I enjoy a really steamy story, I like some good story with the steam, so this one isn't a keeper for me. It's earned only two and a half of Cupid's five arrows.
